Hello Katie your embroideries are very pretty....you could use them for lots of things, like pictures, or as patches for a patchwork cushion or baby quilt, or as a simple little quilted hanging maybe? Thanks for your visit over to my blog, it was lovely to see you! Have a happy week. Helen x
Lovely embroidery. Can I suggest you wrap and tack on strips of fabric around your embroidery rings/hoops.....it'll stop the hoop marks on your embroider fabric appearing which are very difficult if not impossible to get out. My Gran taught me that ages ago. Hope you don't mind me giving you this hint :-)
I'd be tempted to leave them in the hoops and put them on the wall. I did that with a mini patchwork and really like the effect. They're lovely. In answer to your query about my plates, they're just put up with plate hangers bought from the hardware shop, they cost about 40-80p depending on the size. XX
Hi Katie, these stitcheries are very sweet - lots of good ideas above to make the most of them. You could also applique them onto bags, my own leaning would be towards making a collection and turning them into a small sampler or quilt. Or if you are really stumped - just put them somewhere safe until the Big Idea comes and hits you round the head - it will!
Those are just adorable! I agree with the other comments, that they look great just left in the hoops, or I also like the cushion cover/quilt idea as well (or even bunting). Have a lovely day today :) Magie x
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I love the embroidery, I'm always in awe of anyone who can do stitchy things, I'm no good with a needle and thread.
